Albany Senior High School (ASHS) is an innovative, future-focused school for students in years 11-13. Experience at ASHS has included:- Teacher across all levels of Mathematics, Business Studies and Economics- Community Leader, 2021- . In this role I lead 12 tutor teachers. This involves planning the tutorial curriculum, improving tutor practice, and working alongside tutors to support students on their individualised learning pathways.- Effective Teacher Learning Leader, 2024-. In this role, I co-lead the ASHS’ professional inquiry for all teaching staff.- Co-Specialist Subject Leader (acting), Commerce, 2021- Impact Champion, 2020-2021. In this role, I supported the innovation of our Impact Projects, in which students spend each Wednesday on a community-focused student-led project.

- Part time teacher of Economics, Enterprise & Financial Literacy, Science, Current Events, English as a Second Language, Art and Physical Education.- Relief teaching across all subject areas at the School.

Starting a business developing educational products for young children. In these products, we sought to integrate positive learning dispositions with maths and language skills through stories and games.

Economics and Business Studies teacher, including iGCSE and A Level Economics. Other responsibilities:- Head of the house system. This involved collaborating with staff, prefects and students to propose and implement changes to the house system, and to run weekly activities.- Teacher-in-charge of the rowing programme.

The Learning Skills Unit (LSU) supported students to develop learning skills with a goal to improve student experience, academic outcomes and retention. We worked with an entrepreneurial ethos, finding ways to work with students that fit their modes of learning. We did this through:- One-on-one consultations- Workshops- Self-access materials- A student mentoring programmeOther experience in this position includes:- Presenting at the Association for Academic Language and Learning Conference- Development of the budget for the Hanoi LSU- Supervision of an administrative assistant- Member of the RMIT Vietnam Hanoi Management Committee.

Experience includes:- Teaching academic English- Guiding and mentoring new teachers- Assessing across all language skills- Developing learning materials.

Writing educational resources to:- Support Hong Kong university teachers in the implementation of active learning- Prepare postgraduate students in Hong Kong for their research degrees.

Teaching English as a foreign language to children aged from three years old, teenagers and adults.
