I’m a very enthusiastic young man who loves diving into the deep end and getting hands on. First year out of high school I spent the year as a relief teacher at a kindergarten which ended up turning into a teacher aide role as I took on a little boy with aggression issues and helped him transition into normal kindergarten routines and behaviour and then eventually helped him transition into his school routine. This role helped me develop a lot of my communication skills as I learnt to build relationships with both the young boy and with parents and teachers. Also develop patience and I found myself learning how to trial things with him and learn through errors. After this role I studied for a year at Equippers College. This course allowed me to grow both in my faith but also my self development. I grew in my ability to work in teams and also learning leadership techniques and how to implement them into team situations. After my year at Equippers College I moved to Taupo to help volunteer at Equippers Taupo a local church here. While living head I got a job at Hallensteins and have been here since. At this job I use the skills of customer service, handling cash ect. Also working on a team is a big requirement for the role. I am capable of working towards budgets and maintain my own KPI’s. Another big part of my life that I enjoy and have had the opportunity to do a bit in was doing production through my church in Auckland. It is a big passion of mine and I got the opportunity to work with production companies in venues such as spark arena and the Bruce mason centre.
