Staff Test Engineer
CurrentAll the responsibilities of Sr. Test Engineer with an exponential increase of project load, complexity, ownership and passion with the trust and support of the organization. Problem solving in highly complex systems with expert level understanding of integration points between subsystems, HW, SW, FW, and the user experience. I help solve problems found on the cutting edge of medical physics, to provide solutions enabling the creation of the best-in-class PET/CT devices available in the world.In addition to project specific activities, I am vigilantly on the lookout for ways to improve both the quality and efficiency of the testing our teams perform through tooling, automation, methodologies, and new technological opportunities such as virtual environments or simulators. This work often requires driving new process improvements working with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs and the rest of the PLM team.Recent Education: I’ve spent the last 3-4 years building my knowledge of medical physics and gaining proficiency in the fixtures, preparation, and completion of NEMA standard testing as well as working collaboratively to establish new industry requirements used by all medical device manufacturers. In addition, as of July 2018, I earned a Masters of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance and two EC-Council certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker, Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator.
