I conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly escalate any concerns. I administer medications through various routes, including intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM), and subcutaneous (SC) injections. I work on a range of different wards in both medical and surgical fields. I perform specialised tasks based on departmental needs, such as venipuncture, central line care, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and enteral feeding and medication administration. I ensure the highest standard of patient care by managing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and addressing patient needs effectively and compassionately. Additionally, I maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all care provided is documented meticulously. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised patient care plans and uphold hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
