CurrentCurrent responsibilities involve building software to manipulate data to create valuable data products and developing and maintaining the delivery methods for these products. Python and C# are my go-to languages and I work on both Windows and Linux extensively.Working in a startup has provided me with the opportunity to deliver on a diverse array of challenges, including developing and testing market-leading high resolution air quality mapping products on regional and national scales, developing calibration software for our network of small sensors, providing weekly sensor network performance reviews and building and maintaining databases of national air quality data.

Part of several small teams within the Earth Observation Science group working on inter-related projects at the forefront of air quality sensor research. Responsibilities included designing scientific analysis models in Python and making key contributions to project documentation such as mission and requirements analysis. Also specialised in collecting and processing large amounts of data into useful information used to further studies, using Python to build instrument models, process test data and output statistics and visuals. Whilst here I also designed a GUI for the group’s Zephyr air quality sensor using Python.
