Shasta Scout is a nonprofit newsroom in Northern California committed to strengthening democracy through diverse reporting and investigative stories, with a coverage focus on government accountability, education, and the environment. I’ve been an advisor to Shasta Scout on journalism, operational, and revenue strategies since 2022, and a member of the governing board since 2023.
