Hey! I'm Sam Hui, a student at the University of Cambridge. With a dedicated history of amplifying student agency and developing sustainability initiatives, I am a highly motivated individual that strives to empower the community around me to be the change. Through my strong interest in global politics, international relations, and law, I've always been a keen advocate of advancing the UN SDGs, in particular, 2 (Zero Hunger), 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and 13 (Climate Action). I'm open to event management, public speaking, and research internship opportunities in those areas.Having worked closely with senior management on implementing large-scale projects (Head Student), managed a team involving 90+ students (Debate & Public Speaking Club), coordinated a school-wide community initiative that extended our gratitude to the local district through practical action (Head of the Connected Communities Committee), and oversaw two of ESF's largest student-driven groups (ESF Student Council & Sustainability Council), I've developed comprehensive management, collaboration and problem-solving skills. Receiving the SCMP Student of the Year 2023: Best Devotion to School Award, I feel honoured to have been recognised for my achievements.I've also been fortunate enough to be featured on SCMP, Ming Pao, Sing Tao Daily, RTHK Radio 3, and VIVA HK, and I pride myself on being a highly skilled leader, communicator and critical thinker who is passionate about inspiring everyone around me to develop their own passion projects to make the world a better place.
