I was born and raised in the Milwaukee area. I originally attended college in Nebraska, then transferred and graduated from Cardinal Stritch with my BA in Psychology. My background heavily involves the social work field. I first worked with children, both with special needs, and then children involved with the judicial system. After a fairly serious injury at work, I was told I needed something less physically demanding, so I transitioned to working with adults. I have been an Employment Specialist (state of NE), Economic Assistance Benefits Specialist (state of SD), Case Manager (WI) and am also an IRIS Consultant (WI). After moving around a bit, my wonderful husband and I have found ourselves settled here in 2016. We live in West Allis, with our three young boys. I got into the individual Health and Life Insurance space because of my background in social work. I consistently saw, and continue to see, so many people with Medicare not knowing what options they have available to them, or people not mowing how to obtain the right coverage for themselves and their loved ones. Sometimes there were/are benefits people didn’t even know they had or were eligible for! I wanted to make a difference by being able to help my local community be better educated about their healthcare options. I help people get set up for their Medicare, prescription drug, health, dental and vision plans, cancer, and heart attack/stroke insurance, as well as life insurance by educating them on their options. I love being an independent agent and being able to contract with a large variety of carriers in our area, so I can find the right fit for client’s needs! I believe in doing the right thing for others, and in being genuinely well-intentioned. I am always open to conversations about how to help the community and others with their needs and enjoy connecting with other like-minded individuals.
