Team lead, responsible for the procurement of a range of clinical areas, including but not limited to Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Therapies and Endoscopy accross 5 NHS Trusts.

Often called a lead commissioner or category manager, the role represents Croydon Councilin the mental health area in all aspects of social care and wellbeing, ensuring that nationaland local priorities are reflected in commissioning strategies and decisions, and leading onmarket and service developments and design – supporting people to improve their wellbeingand enabling them to live more independently.The role is responsible for a variety of contracts including but not limited to multiplesupported housing provisions, advocacy and employment support. This includes servicereviews, developing new services, procurement, mobilisation contract management anddecommissioning of all services and providers.Responsible for regional conversations with NHS and other local authority partners, developing longterm strategies as well as more short-term opportunities for co-working and sharing resourcesSignificant involvement with all aspects of service improvement, transformation and strategicchange; recent examples include on-boarding new properties, developing commissioning intentions,piloting new services, delivering MTFS targets and streamlining step down pathwaysLine management for senior and junior contract and commissioning officers.

Responsible for the delivery of grant funding to provide activities and food for children on free school meals during school holidays.This included sourcing providers to deliver the programme, mobilising, performance monitoring and reporting on the programme after each holiday.I took on the project for the first full year of delivery, creaating many processes and performance matrices to ensure delivery was fit for purpose and safe for children. The programme was delivered to over 5,000 children via 100+ providers during Summer and Christmas
