Working closely with a variety of staff and students from across the University to establish David Kato College’s Founding Committee, the recruitment of STYCs/STYMs and planning for Welcome Week 2022. Consistently demonstrated an ability to use initiative and creatively problem solve complex issues by reaching out to contacts across the University community to work towards solutions. Throughout this time I have built a strong rapport with student leaders and societies to plan inclusive events and rapidly recruit student leaders for Kato College.

Working as part of Langwith's College Team, I helped support the wellbeing of students and developing community-building events in the particularly difficult context of Covid-19. Experienced a number of complex wellbeing cases demanding the highest standards of discretion and professionalism in supporting students to resolutions, sign-posting students to the appropriate support services and creating an open and inclusive environment to support the wider community’s wellbeing. Consistently demonstrated my ability to communicate confidently with large audiences of students, parents and colleagues from across the University, building strong rapport and developing new professional relationships that proved beneficial for the student community I was supporting.Successfully established the ‘Student Connect’ scheme that helped students from across the University meet like-minded peers to create social networks and get to know when many in-person experiences were closed. This was an extremely complex project demanding an eye for detail, consistency in delivery and working collaboratively with staff across the University.
