29 years OTR tire experience. Working as British Columbia and Yukon as Operations Manager for Kal Tire.Overseeing our mining operations in all areas of the province and the Yukon. Pervious Job;Contract shop foreman working at Elkview Coal Mine for Teck Coal.Managing 12 OTR tiremen (24hrs) and 2 full time air check (days).Elkview had a Fleet of 41-930e's, 25-830e's and ~ 350 other pieces of rubber tire equipment with tire sizes ranging between 22.5" up to 53/80r63. My job is to monitor all aspects of these tires from tracking hours, wear rate, Kms hauled, sending tires for repair, monitoring haul profiles, managing inventory, planning preventive tire maintenance jobs, making value added recommendations to our customers and working with manufacturers in conjunction with the mine to make sure the proper products are being used and properly maintained. My 29 years experience consist of 10 years as an OTR tireman working in different mines around B.C. ,8 years as a mining tire manager and 11 as Operations manager B.C. YukonKnowing the how and the why of this industry, allows me to drive value to the customer through experience and calculated decision making. This gives me great pride in my work and makes me a valuable asset to my team.
