As the Head of Activities at Haven Thornwick Bay, I lead a large department consisting of Activities & Leisure, Retail Revenue, Entertainment and Arcades. I lead the operation with each function having a team manager delivering the best experiences for our guests.I have a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science from Bishop Burton College, where I gained a solid foundation in the theory and practice of sports management, coaching, and health and safety. I have applied these skills and knowledge in my previous roles as a Leisure Manager and H&S Coordinator at Aria Resorts (Away Resorts). I have successfully managed the operations, sales, and H&S strategy of various leisure facilities and services, increasing customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue. I am passionate about creating memorable and positive experiences for our guests, and empowering my team to deliver excellence and innovation. I am always looking for new ways to improve our activities and services, and to ensure that we are compliant and best practice is always implemented. I am also keen to develop my skills and competencies further, and to learn from others in the leisure industry.
