Oversight of the company's Safety Management Systems and direct leadership of Region Safety Managers and Corporate EHS Department staff which provides EHS expertise to the company's North America Operations. Conduct corporate level audits to evaluate the compliance with company's Safety Management Systems and Processes to identify opportunities to minimize and mitigate incidents/accidents, downtime of production and financial losses. Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to accident trend and exposure factors concerning occupational illnesses and employee risk. Oversight and review of accident/near-miss investigations and management of workers compensation claims. Oversight of Veolia’s participation in the OSHA Voluntary Protection Plan, with four site based STAR locations. Serve as Chairperson of Veolia’s Safety Situation, Policies and Policy Issues Team in development of safety and operational policies and procedures. Participate as Veolia Senior Management Team member to develop and implement company Strategic Plan. Serve on Veolia ES Global Health and Safety Center of Excellence as the Veolia North America representative.
