Sam Harris is a Registered General Nurse and the Managing Director and Senior Case Manager of HACM Limited. HACM Limited is a Case Management Company for adults and children who have an acquired brain injury and/or complex traumatic physical injury, spinal injury or mental health problems as a result of personal injury or negligence.HACM Limited has been providing Case Management Services for over 15 years. Our administrative offices are based in Nottinghamshire but our Case Managers cover the East and West Midlands, The North West and across into Lincolnshire. Each of our experiences team has an extensive background in Nursing or Occupational Therapy which supports our skills in Case Management. We are a family owned small business. Sam is registered through the Nursing and Midwifery Council and is a member of the Royal College of Nursing. Sam is a Director of Case Management Society UK and previous Chair. Sam is involved with the Joint (CMSUK,BABICM and VRA) Standards Committee. Sam is an Advanced Member of British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers.Sam has worked as a Case Manager for the past 15 years where she has specialised in the coordination of rehabilitation of individuals with complex brain, orthopaedic and spinal injury. Sam coordinates complete rehabilitation programmes for adults and children with complex and multiple physical difficulties. Her work is based on HACM’s Case Management model and applicable to both pre and post settlement of medico-legal claims. Sam works closely with multi-disciplinary teams, developing care plans, and co-ordinating complex packages of care, including liaison with and referral to other statutory services across health and social services and Local Education Authorities.Sam devises care packages, including 24 hour packages, and provides a recruitment and training function for support workers employed to work with HACM’s clients.
