Currently, I lead a team of IT Business and Metadata Analysts focused on developing a robust data warehouse and analytics platform. We utilize tools such as Collibra and Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making at the agency. I have been instrumental in establishing the first agile scrum team within the agency and am dedicated to making big data more accessible for business users, empowering stakeholders to derive insights from Medicaid and Medicare data across Washington State. Our data management encompasses public employee benefits, state employee benefits, and comprehensive Medicaid and Medicare data for the entire state. With a foundation in Interactive Media Design from Seattle, I began my career as a designer at the Grand Hyatt Kauai, honing my skills in creating visually compelling and effective design solutions. I then transitioned to Pilot Freight Services, where I established and implemented a multi-location communications platform and customized marketing materials and sales kits.At the Washington State Health Benefit Exchange, I spearheaded efforts to enhance web accessibility, leading to the creation of a dedicated department and significantly improving user access across the application. I also led the transformation of the entire application from a desktop-only platform to a fully responsive experience, ensuring accessibility for all users.
