I work at the University of Minnesota Native Bee Lab as a technician, handling specimens, managing and cleaning data, and providing assistance wherever needed.

During the 2024 summer field season, I worked as a Lab Technician with the University of Minnesota Native Bee Lab. My project focused on assessing the quality of previously restored prairies compared to intact remnant prairies in Western Minnesota and North Dakota. My day-to-day activities consisted of taking floral vegetation counts in the previously designated plots, catching and recording bees, and using traps to obtain specimens.
