My role is as a digital marketer, responsible for the integration & set-up of their new eCommerce platform with Neto eCommerce along with other digital marketing activities. Achievements and ContributionsWebsite Transition: Transitioned their database from their old website to their new eCommerce platform. I had to learn the system from the ground up, collate the existing customers & product data that was spread across their old website and their accounting software & then integrate that onto the new platform Liaising with shipping companies IT departments: The integration of our shipping methods & rates were problematic as the ran off the API’s from these shipping carriers. We ran into several problems with this integration and shipping rates were inaccurate on the front end. We had to liaise with the shipping companies & Neto eCommerce to ensure solutions were found. Search Engine Optimisation: Worked on on-page optimisation strategies to help increase rankings of the website in Google search engines. Managed to increase rankings to number 2 for two keywords for a period of time (rankings may have dropped back down since my departure – see screenshots below for evidence). Also got the business ranked in the local search listings (again see screenshots below). Analytics & Tracking: Implemented ecommerce tracking using Google Analytics. We also set up tracking for sales funnels to see where customers were dropping off in our sales process. Most traffic was coming direct to the website from clients who already buy from the business. Also implemented HotJar’s heatmap, video recording and polling software to see what users where doing on our website / get feedback. We noticed that most customers coming to the page were going straight for the search bar (implying that they already knew what they were after).

    My first business venture which was information marketing based and aimed at providing business information to the therapeutic industry. Achievements and ContributionsWebsite Setup: Used Joomla to set up a website. This involved installing the CMS, deploying the theme and uploading all relevant content. Also I designed the logo and other elements. www.pureholisticrevenues.com Marketing Campaigns: Included mainly of social media marketing, landing pages and email marketing. We set up landing pages and ran traffic to them via Facebook ads. The subscribers were then pushed through an email sequence which was set up to deliver valuable content and then push them through to a sale. We’ve also built up a following on Facebook which we use to run promotions and stay in contact with our audience. We then implement conversion tracking and set up re-targeting pixels so that we can run ads to our audience again. Content Delivery: Creating our eBooks on various topics around business. Writing blog posts about similar business topics. Business Strategy: Strategising appropriate plans on where we want to take the business, what product lines we want to add, how we want to attract customers, etc.
