My role was an operation executive within a large tour operator. My main duties are to respond to in-resort telephone emergencies from passengers, resort and concierge partners in relation to all elements of customer travel bookings. I am responsible for providing first contact resolution to any issues impacting TUI clients.Within my role I take responsibility for a wide range of customer facing operational issues. Every interaction is in some way different but common tasks include the re booking of flights, hotels and liaison with third parties in the event of emergency situations.My role requires me to react efficiently to any issues that arise whilst maintaining adherence to company Service Level Agreements’. Whilst customer service is the key focus of my role, the operational and financial impact to the business is also a critical area of attention which is monitored extensively.My role required a high level of customer servicing skills, excellent attention to detail and me to be proficient in the use of various in-house and industry recognized systems (including Travel Link).

Overseas

My role was an Overseas Main Line Representative. My main duties were to help enhance the holiday experience whilst in resort and hotel, this included offering my expert knowledge of resort, excursions to do, places to visit, and further destinations to book. My roles over the years abroad differed from Sales, Airport Advisor, Local expert and Entertainer to families. Within my roles I took responsibility for fulfilling customer sales and expectations. This requires accurate knowledge of the excursions available, the surrounding resorts. I took responsibility at the arriving airports and gave guidance to the destinations. I also provided a fun and interactive daily and nightly program for guests for their stay in the hotel to enhance their holiday experience. My roles required a high level of customer servicing skills, excellent attention to detail and me to be proficient in communicating with both client and supplier.
