About Sam Hernandez, Jr.

With nearly two decades of experience in the legal translations industry, I've managed foreign language projects for the world’s largest corporations and law firms. My focus and exposure to the IP legal space prompted me to file my own intellectual property worldwide. With extensive knowledge of the foreign patent filing process the patent translations requirements associated with this process, I assist in-house counsel, universities, and law firms to streamline the translations and foreign patent filing process and reduce costs.I spearheaded projects for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) becoming one of the first external language vendors to the UN agency. I served as an expert witness in translation quality procedures before the US Supreme Court on one of the largest litigation cases in US history. I coordinate secret-level security translation services including written translations and live interpreters with multiple legal counsel in conjunction with the Department of Justice (DoJ) and the Department of Defense (DoD) on the Guantanamo Bay trials.
