Supply Chain Analyst
CurrentProcure packaged products for a major grocery chain through the analyses of historical product movement, price points, and competitors’ activity that include buying for dairy and refrigerated, deli, dry grocery, frozen, general merchandise, and perishables categories for major consumer packaged goods companies such as Clorox, Kraft, Proctor and Gamble, Quaker Oats, and Unilever using SSIMS and QMF to manage over $13 million in inventory.• Actively collaborates with cross functional teams including supply chain management, vendor partners, consumer demand, and warehouses to maintain service and inventory levels.• Turn around agent who successfully has turned low performing vendors to become vendors that consistently meet supply chain metrics.• Selected to be part of vendor managed inventory (VMI) pilot in which vendors forecast, write orders and managed Safeway inventories against key performance indicators (KPIs). Use QMF and QlikView to chart weekly performance. Vendor went from never meeting all four major KPIs (service level, inventory, aged inventory, and turns to consistently meeting them week after week.
