Criminal prosecution work relating to misdemeanors and traffic. Worked on charge requests, jury trials and plea deals. Drafted briefs and motions and attended a daily docket.

• Worked with two criminal defense attorneys on murders, armed felonies, kidnapping, theft and DUI cases.• Researched and articulated defense theories in kidnapping, felony theft and theft cases.• Met with incarcerated clients to obtain case information and ensure that their medical and safety were met.• Monitored jail conditions and relayed information to their families.• Observed investigators during witness interviews.• Digested and summarized police reports, forensic reports, bodycam footage, street- cam footage, and witness testimonies.• Prepared discovery motions, motions to suppress evidence, and a writ to permit transcription of hearing.• Assisted attorneys at trial with quick legal research, voir dire investigation and phone calls.
