The WACHS Pilbara Regional Emergency Operations Centre (REOC) has been established to coordinate the response to the COVID-19 pandemic across the Pilbara and works closely with the Operational Area Support Group (OASG) and the WACHS EOC.The REOC works closely with Public Health Operations and/or Regional Public Health staff on the public health response. The REOC gathers and disseminates intelligence and relevant information, coordinates the allocation and distribution of resources across the region and has strategic oversight of implementation of response and business continuity strategies.

Master of 34m AMSA registered passenger ferry, daily between Port of Gladstone and Heron Island. I also managed 6 smaller resort vessels in conjunction with M/V Heron Islander, this included rostering, recruitment, logistics and operational management of the department, including managing 10 staff. During this time, I spearheaded and managed the replacement of one of the Heron Islanders main engines, including sourcing plant, slipway operations and contractors.
