About Sam Hoffman

Hello! I am a sophomore currently pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics at UPenn's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, with an intended concentration in Energy, Fluids, and Thermal Systems. My passion lies in aerospace, electronics, defense, and aviation, but I remain open-minded and eager to explore other fields.I love learning and exploring new things, especially acquiring new skills in the process of building innovative solutions. I strive to be a collaborative, solution-driven mechanical engineer skilled in developing and advancing systems through comprehensive analysis. And as a nimble problem-solver, effective communication is one of my greatest assets. This has built my track record of taking ownership of products from ideation through fabrication to produce reliable results in professional, real-world settings.Outside of academics, I enjoy watching baseball and F1, skiing, experimenting with cooking, and camping/backpacking. Feel free to reach out at samhoffman83@gmail.com with any questions or opportunities; always happy to connect and chat!
