Meat is sold in advance and those customers have the opportunity to come on site, be involved in raising the animals, and have a voice in the way they are raised. The project raises pigs and lambs for meat. The high welfare of the animals and the use of rare breed pigs means that the meat produced is of a very high quality and different from meat available through traditional shops.

Science TeacherA Range Of Independant And State Secondary Schools Sep 2003 - Dec 2016East Yorkshire, Hertfordshire And KentI have taught Science to all secondary school ages pupils at a range of schools both state-run and independent. At the independent school, I turned the Science department around, expanding the number of staff, adding courses such as A level Physics, setting up departmental structures and best practice and taking control of the budget. I was an active member of the group that ran the school and one of the teacher trustees. I have organised many trips including several to Geneva to visit the Physics experiments at CERN, trips to the JET fusion laboratory and outdoor pursuits trips and camps. I have recently been working across the department to advise staff on how to organise, run and record the new practical assessment part of A-level Science. I have worked within several departments advising staff on how best to use IT in their lessons.
