Served as a senior editorial consultant, advising and overseeing section editors and writers in researching/preparing/writing articles, in addition to assisting with strategy and stakeholder concerns.

Served as Head News Editor, responsible for the newspaper's largest section, and 13 articles weekly. Directed story research, section strategy and liaised with on-campus and external stakeholders. Managed and mentored a team of up to 30 writers, and authored over 60 articles in the 2018-2019 year. Developed competency in utilising industry-relevant platforms, such as WordPress.

Served as a Deputy Editor in the News and Sports sections, responsible for sub-editing articles and mentoring new writers, in addition to researching and authoring stories.

Undertook a placement in the office of Sir Norman Lamb MP. Assisted in monitoring, and providing briefs on: parliamentary activity, legislation, and media developments. Briefed Mr Lamb ahead of appearances on LBC, and assisted with administrative duties related to Mr Lamb's role.

Assisting the head of public affairs, monitored parliamentary and legislative developments relating to company policy priorities. Also provided relevant policy research, including summarising select committee reports and upcoming party conference material. Assisted in compiling daily media and industry-relevant briefs, utilising a range of sources, and briefed the CEO ahead of a meeting.

Academy journalist for GiveMeSport, an online platform that reaches over 30 million monthly. Working under senior journalists, published over 50 articles covering a range of major sports, and was promoted to junior contributor status. Articles were featured on platform's social media channels, with up to 25 million followers.

Served as a lead mentor for UK charity Debate Mate, assisting in improving student literacy via teaching public speaking and debating in disadvantaged schools in Greater Manchester.
