As a Quality Assurance Specialist, for Fleet Readiness Center South East (FRCSE), I am currently assigned to the Special Process audit team where I serve as the lead auditor for all assigned audits concerning special processes. I advise top management, staff and associated quality officials on observed special process nonconformance's and assist in providing short and long term goals to facilitate corrective action. Additional responsibilities as a Quality representative, range from oversight on quality investigations for appropriate root cause determination, management of risk-based sampling and statistical analysis programs, analyzing quality data to determine nonconformance root causes and facilitate and participate in corrective action/preventative action processes. I also provide input and analysis on work orders and technical references, personnel, training, and equipment that may affect production as identified by any of the above-mentioned processes. As a special process auditor, I frequently use Quality control techniques including design control, inspection, statistical process control, and real-time analysis of metrics to assist me in recommending prevention measures that could positively affect readiness shortfalls and the resulting financial losses.
