As a therapist I help busy professionals fighting stress, anxiety and burnout, achieve connection and alignment in their lives, so they can find ease within themselves and their relationships.When I'm working as a Finance Director I support decision making at Koreo, a Learning & Development consultancy working in the Third Space.Having worked in Finance as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) for over a decade, 2020 and the Covid pandemic gave me an opportunity to stand back, reassess and spend some time with family. In that time I deepened my knowledge of one of my passions, Yoga, taking a 200hr Teacher Training course, which I now teach alongside my other roles.After 3 years of building a team, developing a function, growing a business and being heavily involved in selling it to Shell, I left Limejump, a renewable energy Tech business, in 2020. As Financial Controller in a dynamic, rapidly scaling start-up, I led on Management Information, Financial Reporting & Control, Commercial Finance, and Financial Planning, as well as building and managing the team. The experience taught me a huge amount about managing a finance function and a business, and about people, not least myself.Previously I worked in Professional Services (Grant Thornton), predominantly helping clients to understand the risks & opportunities of their acquisitions and investments, specialising in financial due diligence. I developed my Financial Reporting experience working in Audit as I qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ICAEW) with GT in 2012.I spent 2016 cycling across Continental Europe, living in a tent, braving the elements, meeting some incredible people, and generally having an adventure.
