I also ensured that our quality assurance paperwork was correct, arranged correctly and ensuring prompt handover to the client. I enjoyed being mentored and guided by the contracts managers in the office. I also spent a two month period sub contracted out to London underground during the 2012 Olympics and provided to a signals installation project that were responsible for a test section of signals equipment installed on the District Line. During this time I was overseeing the inspection, data downloads and maintenance checks of a LU signals teams during this crucial time for the network. During these years I learnt a great deal of knowledge and respect for the work that goes on before a project even starts on site and leading from this I requested that I be trusted with more responsibilities. I had an enjoyable 14 months working for Silverdell Uk Ltd, I learnt a lot whilst working alongside and being supervised by a very efficient rail management team. Over these months I studied and passed in A.R.C.A certified asbestos removal training. I was self-employed for Mane Recruitment and was contracted by Giffen Group Ltd as an Electrical Mate/ site assistant where I would work alongside the electricians on site. My duties would include; working on site surveys and report creation, or new CMS route design and install.I learnt the majority of my hands on skills and knowledge in this time and I formed a good relationship with the people I worked with, who at the same time helped me learn.
