In 2014, I teamed up with How It Should Have Ended to provide voice acting for multiple characters including Darth Vader, The Big Bad Wolf, and Doctor Strange. I also co-wrote scripts for the main HISHE YouTube channel, the Villain Pub series, and the Fixed Fairy Tales for the HISHE Kids channel.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Following the ADDIE method, and using Adobe Capitvate and the Creative Suite, I created e-learning modules, instructor led training, blended learning curriculum, and other training materials that supported Santander’s business initiatives and maximized Operational Training ROI. Worked directly with representatives of the business to analyze and document training needs and partnered with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to research and write content. Developed behavioral and cognitive objectives and designed Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 evaluations. Provided in-house voice recording and narration for compliance e-learning modules and various animated videos and explainer videos.

Recently, I co-wrote and designed a four-week curriculum for One Hope. This curriculum integrates weekly lessons with the web-based, gaming-based Incredible Islands program designed for at home learning. I also co-wrote activities to correspond with One Hope’s “God Man” film. These activities were designed to help children in the developing world enhance their learning experience from the film. Games and learning experiences were designed to be implemented using no supplies or props due to impoverished conditions.

In July, I began working alongside the Curriculum Team of the reThink Group. I have written the large group, live teaching scripts for the February 2015 segment and the April 2015 segments of the 252 Basics curriculum. The 252 curriculum is part of the Orange curriculum family and is currently in use by over 6,000 churches. The curriculum includes video elements, live teaching, object lessons, and games all designed to provoke discovery in the hearts of elementary aged children.

In 2011 I became Manager of the Writing Department of Elevate and the Head Writer of all large group content for the curriculum. I designed and developed the scope and sequences for 2 full years of the elementary and preschool formats of Elevate. While in this role, I managed the writing staff and multiple contract writers through casting vision, assigning tasks, reviewing and editing submitted content, and enforced deadlines. I oversaw the entire production process from writing, to set design, and filming. I directed and acted in the video versions of the large group materials and worked closely with the other department heads to create the finished product. On the marketing and sales end, I aided with writing copy for advertisements and represented Elevate at several conferences including the Children's Pastors Conference, D6, ARC, and the C3 Conference.

At the start of 2006 I transitioned from being the 2nd - 3rd grade pastor to the writing staff of a brand new children's church curriculum called Elevate for elementary aged children. I was part of the team that created, wrote, and designed this product from the ground up. Each 8 week series of Elevate included a Bible lesson component, a sit-com style skit, a live teaching script, and many application-based small group activities. I also helped create a second line of Elevate curriculum designed for preschool aged children.

I joined the children's staff at Fellowship Church in 2003 and worked as a children's pastor of the 4th and 5th grade room and eventually the 2nd and 3rd grade room. During this time there was an average attendance of 3000 children each weekend. I was responsible for preparing the weekend lesson, designing and building the sets for the children's room stage, and leading the service on stage each weekend. I also remained in communication with volunteers and families about upcoming weekend activities and big events. During the summers, I co-wrote the stage script and acted in our annual "Adventure Week" program, and oversaw the games for our nightly stage show at our children's summer camp.
