Amel Association is a local non-sectarian NGO which provides livelihood, gender equality, child protection, youth, migrant domestic workers and health care services. Since 2012, Amel has been a key local player in the emergency response to the Syrian crisis. My role is to supervise the implementation of health activities across three projects to deliver health care services in Primary Health Care centres and a Medical Mobile Unit, in the most affected areas in Lebanon. - Lead and performance manage a team of seven people at our headquarters, as well as 34 field staff (nurses, doctors, social workers and administrative staff), including national and expatriate staff.- Manage on-time delivery of the financial reports to donors and other stakeholders, despite tight deadlines and limited resources, including management of the donor narrative and financial reports.- Weekly monitoring and evaluation field trips to the Bekaa Valley, Informal Tented Settlements and our Primary Health Care Centres and Mobile Medical Unit.- Responsibility for the procurement and purchase of medical equipment, drugs and medical supplies and the preparation of tenders. - Oversight of the termination and exit strategy of the Mobile Medical Unit due to lack of funding, ensuring the smooth transition for beneficiary referrals to nearby primary health care service providers, particularly those with chronic diseases.- Working with international donors, in-country partner organisations, NGOs and the UN in the coordination and delivery of health care activities in the Bekaa Valley. Organisations I have worked with include Polish Aid, Medicin du Monde, DFID, UNHCR and AFD.- Recruitment of permanent staff including, two registered nurses, one social worker and one doctor for our Primary Health Care centres and Mobile Medical Unit located in the Bekaa Valley.- Conducted three health assessments which was integral to the successful award of 1 million (Euros) in additional funding.

The Unit is responsible for the facilitation of collaboration between senior Courts across the world, particularly throughout the Asia-Pacific region.My role was to design and provide technical assistance to the Unit and the project management of judicial development and training activities across Asia-Pacific. The largest project being was a five year relationship between the Federal Court of Australia and 14 Pacific Island Countries.- Direct management and performance oversight of local project teams.- Involvement in the annual budget development and also responsible for ongoing finance and budget management (e.g., forecasting, projections and tracking), logistical and administrative elements of regional and local workshops.Drafted the Travel Risk Management Staff Manual. - Recruited and inducted over 20 people for our internship program.- Strong experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.

Tanzania & The Netherlands

- Conducted field missions to Rwanda in a complex political & cultural environment.- Liaised with local Rwandese and Tanzanian official authorities.- Excellent communication and networking skills within the UNICTR to coordinate our witnesses’ safety/ translation of documents.- Conducted research & analysis on human rights/international criminal law.- English Editor for academic publications for international legal journals.- Document management of sensitive information and data entry.
