I completed a Software Development bootcamp that lasted 12 weeks. The focus was practical application. I built multiple applications using the skills I had just learnt including JavaScript games, React apps pulling data from Firebase/API's and a commercial project for a startup called 'The Drop'.

I worked as part of the Global Mobility tax team, preparing tax returns for mobile assignees of the firms clients who had tax obligations in multiple jurisdictions. An 8 week total placement in the FX trading team at Smart.After an initial 2 weeks of work experience on both the Private Client and Corporate side of the business I was asked to continue with the company in formal internship role.I pitched a new virtual platform to clients of the business, gaining excellent communication and sales skills. At the end of my internship I presented my results to the directors of the business and had a ~10% conversion rate using a refined pitch of the product.
