I originally worked for The Alexander Mann Group (Executive Search Firm) which specialise in Recruitment to Recruitment, IT, Media, Banking and Finance Recruitment for two years, from January 1992. I was employed as Sales Administration Manager, responsible for managing the Admin team to ensure the workload was prioritised and completed within specific deadlines. I was asked to return as Executive Assistant, where my position encompassed not only working for the Group Managing Director, but also the Chairman, James Caan, (from BBC’s Dragons Den). My duties included screening all calls to the Chairman and Managing Director, drafting all their business and personal correspondence and managing the senior management diaries on a daily basis. II collated sales activity and financial information from both the internal and external sales teams and worked out their productivity, which I reported to the management team on a weekly and monthly basis. I worked closely with the Chairman in supporting the company’s external franchise and affiliate businesses, Humana International and their Directors, Managers and Consultants. I worked with these partners from conception through to the completion of the agreement, completing all the required paperwork for these new partners and dealing with any issues they had.Reason for leaving: Headhunted to join Cyberdesk.
