Husco specializes in the design and production of Electro-Mechanical Solenoids for automotive applications.As a Design Engineer at Husco, I lead innovative efforts within the automotive industry, emphasizing:• Advanced Design: Employing magnetic modeling, tolerance stack analysis, and FMEA/DFMEA to create robust solenoid designs that meet customer requirements.• DFMA (Design for Manufacturability): Selecting the appropriate manufacturing processes, particularly for high-tolerance mass produced components. Then designing these components to be compatible with these processes. Commonly designed processes include, injection molding, CNC, casting, stamping, and more.• Testing & Validation: Developing hydraulic test equipment with precise solenoid controls and advanced data acquisition techniques to test prototype products. Then designing rugged design validation (DV) equipment and processes to ensure reliability and safety of the product. • Collaboration: Cultivating strong relationships with suppliers and customers to facilitate proper part quality and customer satisfaction.
