As part of the Customer Leadership group lead by Nigel Piper I support the function of Subscriptions and Billing. We're responsible for Xero's payment and billing strategy and ensuring that customers are able to pay Xero in a timely manner across the groups various billing platforms. This involves leading the relationship with Stripe who are Xero's primary payment processor and ensuring the best possible acceptance rates and processing times. Xero also uses Stripe Connect and Billing to power some of our billing solutions across the group. We then collaborate with the product teams across Xero who power our in house systems to ensure we're working towards providing the best experience we can for these customers. As the leader of the Billing Operations team I also lead a team of Operations Analysts who work daily to ensure our wider team is across change happening across the group.

In this role I have responsibility for ensuring the Xero Group's revenue is invoiced and collected in a timely manner across our multiple billing platforms. Working with a team of system analysts we enabling our GTM teams to sell in ways that work for our customers while also ensuring they work for Xero internally so we can bill and report these customers in our internal and external results. We're also heavily involved with our Product teams who build our billing systems providing feedback on the needs and wants of the business and customers to continually build and improve. I support the capture and publication of statistics for Netball New Zealand (NNZ) on behalf of Champion Data. This role involves a high-pressure environment of live sport, where statistics are provided in sub-second time to various sources from an in venue statistics display to our public match center. Helping to capture these statistics is a team of 40 volunteers located around New Zealand. The events we attend range from 17 week long competitions to full week competitions or day trips to provide a live scoring service on finals day. Once captured the statistics are reviewed post match to ensure accuracy and consistency across the country. Part of this role is also some ad-hoc analysis of the statistics we capture to provide supporting evidence to new ideas and theories in the world of netball.
