Led design and execution of value proposition for newly acquired gene therapy indicated for Hemophilia A patients. Provided current standard of care and conducted walk-through of benefits for one-time gene therapy. Conducted research on the advancing sciences of gene therapy and its potential treatment/cure of hemophilia A. Studied and reviewed the literature and made the recommendation from a QALY perspective for both direct and indirect costs that newer gene therapy for hemophilia A had a lower overall cost than traditional hemophilia A treatments.Exposed to the payer formulary management, drug utilization review through interactions with Kansas Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas. Introduced on how population health and pharmacy claims data can be used to identify gaps in care with vulnerable patient groups.
