About Sam Kirkpatrick

I have been teaching Design Technology for over 20 years in all areas. At KS4 I currently teach Child Development, but have taught Graphics, food & nutrition and Product Design at this level in the past. I have been and continue to be a key member in the pastoral team, taking on the Deputy head of year role for many years, head of PSHE for the whole school and a lead teacher in the county for Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning.Having recently qualified as a level 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Heath Coach I offer private appointments outside of my teaching hours, as well as seeing students in my school as part of my DHoY role.
