- Man the security desk at the venue. Position was first point of contact for people attending site, good communication and customer focus - Monitor and react to fire alarms, intruder alarms and various other situations, to maintain site security and welfare of clients and staff- Admitting only authorised personnel on site including staff, clients and contractors. This also helped maintain site safety and security- Pre-event safety checks, including making sure fire exits are unlocked and clear, trip hazards are non existent and that site health and safety standards are met- Managed staff consistently, allocating various positions, signing off health and safety check sheets, making sure time sheets are correctly filled in and processed- Conducted licensed security work, searching on entry, ticket collecting, making sure bars closed at the correct time and making sure clients were enjoying themselves in a safe and secure environment- To also react to situations when required as before, first aid incidents, and conflicts of interest between various parties
