I received my first Counseling Skills Training in 1983, under the guidance of Mr Anthony Yeo and subsequently did a Diploma in Counseling at Counseling and Care Centre in 1987. It has been a meaningful and exciting journey of discovering myself through the journey of equipping myself as a Counselor over the past 40 years. I started out wanting to know why the human mind was so fragile and I ended up discovering the amazing capacity of the human spirit for resilience - even through the darkest of human experiences! I have been involved in training, equipping, and inspiring Master-level students as they enter the counseling profession for the past 15 years. My main goal today is to be able to bless and connect with the Christian counseling community through my work in the Association of Christian Counsellors Singapore (ACCS) and the larger Asian Christian community through my involvement with the Asian Christian Counselling Association.
