Unified Communications Specialist
CurrentResponsible for the day to day operations of the Anglian Water Unified Communications architecture which includes a Genband SBC, Experius SIP server, Genesys Contact Centre, Streamwide Voicemail, Verint Call Recording, Mastercard Web Server and various hosting elements.Primary point of contact for platform vendors and the legacy Genband C20 VoIP switch.Performing complex changes and debugging.Providing expert knowledge to peers and management.Service delivery of the pre-production environment ensuring that updates, patches and service enhancements can be tested and deployed.Key Achievements in this role• Integration of SIP trunks from SBC to Cap Geminis Lync platform• Implementation of VoIP gateways to reduce customer spend by 20%• Upgrade of SBC and Experius to latest release• UAT during integration and after upgrades/patching• Building lab to test new hardware and software drops• Migration of users to new platform• Resolution of DPA and call recording issues to adhere to PCI compliance• Configuration and debugging of contact centre applications
