Hi, my name is Sam Landesman, and I am a Senior at Elon University in North Carolina. I am studying Cinema and Television Arts with minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.I am from Weston, Connecticut, where I graduated from Weston High School in June 2021. Throughout High School, I was heavily involved in the videography program, filming and editing videos of sporting events, PSAs, fundraiser videos, etc. I also worked in our production studio, helping produce many videos that would be shown to the entire school. During my junior year of high school, I created a forty-five-minute video for a virtual summer dance recital. I am continuing this interest at Elon University as I work for both Elon Sports Vision and Elon Creative Services. I have directed, technical directed, worked replay, graphics, and handheld and tripod cameras on Elon Sports Vision Broadcasts. I have also filmed and edited videos promoting Elon's NCAA D1 athletics. I have a strong passion for sports as well, as I participate in One-On-One Sports, a sports debate show at Elon. I was on the Varsity Golf team for four years during my high school career, and I participate on the club golf team at Elon as well. During the summer going into my junior year, I served as a tournament operations intern for the Metropolitan section of the PGA. This past summer, I worked on the broadcast team for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape Cod Baseball League.I have a strong passion for video production and sports. I want to continue challenging myself and working on projects in these fields.
