I joined The FA full time in April 2016 as Operations Coordinator at St. Georges Park. In this role I planned, delivered and coordinated various events on site from England training camps to fixtures.I frequently worked with The FA’s England Teams Operations department, most recently with Senior men and U21’s teams, as a Team Liaison Officer. My primary role was to ensure that the opposing team and staff were supported to ensure that their time and fixtures are as seamless as possible; I was their first port of call for the duration of their stay. I often assisted with language barriers and co-ordination with onsite operations, which forced me to take challenges head on, problem solve and adapt myself including how I communicate changes in schedules so that it accommodates all parties and ensures that each session was as smooth as possible

My first role at Derbyshire CFA was to provide administrational support to the Operations Manager and Discipline Officer. My responsibilities included active involvement with affiliations and disciplinary action using the County Administration System, day to day customer facing as well as dealing with difficult clients who query their disciplinary sanctions; I also dealt with petty cash and cheque/credit card payments.My second role was to organise and co-ordinate the Football Education Programme in Derbyshire, which requires me to be available at all hours. My responsibilities involve the use the Education Management System on a daily basis to plan, produce, sell, organise and structure all courses within Derbyshire including public visibility working with the Marketing Officer in order to deliver the County Plan. Within this role I manage a workforce of over 20 tutors across all disciplines.

As a Community Coach I lead in the delivery of PPA schemes, inclusion projects, skills challenges, multi-skills sessions, Talent ID Camps, working with disabled children and events such as holiday camps. I was also a Player Appearance Co-ordinator, I had to schedule and plan for a variety of events where players would make appearances. This role involved being highly organised for a number of people and communicating to the wider team in order to ensure first team player appearances did not clash with training and matches, as well as ensuring that events ran as planned. For example I have previously arranged for England Women’s squad players to visit Derby County’s Girls Centre of Excellence. During my time at the Community Trust I worked alongside the Professional Footballers’ Association for administrational and contractual purposes in regard to the players.
