Currently taking on Senior responsibilities:Calculating and recording team effectiveness on a daily basis, which contributes to monitoring of the department's performance.Providing guidance and support for team members working with unfamiliar processes. Reviewing quality feedback logged against the team and feeding it back to the responsible adviser. Regular responsibilities:Assessing documents submitted as supporting evidence for mortgage applications, including deposits, employment and material changes. Chasing brokers and applicants for outstanding documents and information. Acting as a main point of contact for applicants. Following strict operating procedures whilst maintaining high quality and effectiveness. Referring to policy to ensure compliance when handling complex matters.Recent successes:Writing guidance for an undocumented process which I have quickly become a subject matter expert on.Finishing, and later redesigning, an incomplete tool using Excel and VBA. The tool is used for assessing income documents, calculating income and producing relevant case notes. This is mandatory and is used throughout the department.Acting as a team champion for roll-out of a fundamentally different methodology being implemented in the department.

Undertaking audits of the Council and its strategic partners, to provide assurance to Senior Management and Members that risk is mitigated through implementation of adequate controls. Liaising with business areas to understand their risks and the effectiveness of their controls. Writing comprehensive reports addressed to the organisation's leadership.

Support of e-enablement Officer, operating on Procurement help desk providing advice on company policy/procedures and use of designated "Marketplace" P2P system. Issuing, destruction and maintaining records of controlled stationery. Ad-hoc, low-value spend category analysis and reporting to Team Manager.

Apprentice in Business and Administration within the Strategic Procurement Team. Further trained in basic contract law, purchasing operations and OJEU-compliant procurement processes.
