To put in into a quick one liner... I love numbers and problem solving.I worked as a Senior Business Analyst with Apollo Group/University of Phoenix for many years and absolutely loved it. From the moment I started digging into the newest 'must have now' question from business groups I was hooked. Along the journey I was able to increase my skillset to quickly adopt new programs in order to extract, transform and analyze data. What started as a monitor seemingly stuck with excel on it quickly turned into SQL, SSRS, Tableau and many others. The excitement that comes with a new challenge can't be topped... we need to learn mapping software to isolate new markets, sign me up! Salesforce is going to be used as a new CRM... sure ill gladly learn it and train the sales team on its usage.As life would have it, my wife started a side business which exploded and my needed support while growing faster than we ever would have imagined. Never would have guessed I would have ended up splitting time coding/report building through the day and hosting training seminars for skincare at night. For a few years I managed to handle both roles but eventually needed to step back from a great analyst career to help grow our cosmetology business. We did plenty of event planning, training, and backend admin work which always comes with being self employed. I even managed to build a few different projection models for monthly sales volumes to pacify some of my analytical brain along the way which proved to be very useful. Things have since calmed and my time is free to get back to my passion about data and how it can help grow businesses and aid in their success.
