The production lines of this company are in Vietnam, the sample room is in Guangzhou, China. Making shoes for famous brands such as Coach(Men and Women), Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman, Tory Burch, Aldo, Ninewest, Guess, Calvin Klein.My responsibilities: 1: Make the development schedule based on sample room capacity and factory production season plan.2: Take charge of translating the designers development sketches/ Sample spec sheets into Chinese for sample making. Checking all customers e-mail about samples passing the information to sample room for sample making too.3: Take charge of all samples (Prototype/ Photo/ SMS/ FITTING/ Wear-Test/ CFM) to be completed to meet strict deadlines and and make sure sample quality is qualified for customer’s standard. 4: Communicate with the designers to give alternative solutions to any potential issues that arise during sampling to alleviate production issues. (Outsole/ material/ lasting/ technical correction/ mold opening/ etc.)5: Provide the information of mould/tooling/special processes to costing department to avoid missing anything when cost.6: Communicate with customers’ technical department for fitting issue to speed up the fitting sample schedule and full size test schedule。7: Assist technical department to complete the technical package to transfer to production department in Vietnam so as to speed up the pattern trial and cutting die test.8: Communicate with the customers whom head offices are in China to solve the problems when production department have issues which the customer’s QA in the Vietnam can not make decision.

The main customers are Nine West, Kenneth Cole, Camuo Group and Tendenda, shoe brands such as Nine West, Kenneth Cole Reaction/New York, Vionic, Jessica Simpson and BCBG etc. 1.Lead the technical team, material sourcing/purchasing team, schedule team, production team and Factory QA team.2.In charge of all production samples (FITTING/ Wear-Test/ CFM) to be completed to meet customer’s request.3.Responsible for the daily management and the department construction, and supervise the implementation department work plan.4.In order to ensure the factory works efficiently, continuously improve organizational structure and simplify institutions to reduce costs, endeavor to improve the management system., and train the management team by regular meeting.5. Analyze the financial report monthly and try to take any action to save money for the factory.6: Lead factory production team to fulfill the customers demands, details are as following: 1). Communicate with relative parties concerned for any pending issues once upon receipt from customer about tech/quality/schedule. 2). Give clear direction to the team and request the team to provide action plan. 3). Review and confirm all materials, color matching, outsoles, & mold openings before proceeding with mass production.4). Track down all sample size fit test result and any new material physical test and finished shoe test results .5). Check the production shoes randomly every morning to make sure the shoes made the day before are acceptable.6) Hold the training meeting with the factory manager to improve the management knowledge.7). Monitor the meeting hold for Tech hand over, figure out any potential issue for mass production.8). Manage Suppliers performance , improve the suppliers quality sense. Make risk assessment on material and components, pay attention to RSL(Restricted Substance List).

This factory makes lady’s dress/casual shoes, boots and children shoes. The main customers are Marlboro Group,Camuto Group, Brown Pacific, IMPO, Michel Meynard, L&F Shubiz division .My main responsibilities are below:1. Take charge of all samples making(Prototype/ Photo/ SMS/ FITTING/ Wear-Test/ CFM) and costing.2.Communicate with designers to give alternative solutions to any potential issues to alleviate production issues.3.Responsible for all direct communication with customers to ensure clear understanding on a daily basis, and sample & material tracking reports to be updated daily.4. Responsible for the daily work as following: 1). Communicate with relative parties concerned for any pending issues once upon receipt design/tech packages from designers or customer; 2). Review lasts, shell patterns, blue prints ,wood molds with designers/customers & factory technicians together then confirm for pullover/proto sample making.3). Review and confirm all materials, color matching, outsoles, & mold openings before proceeding with samples.4). Samples (Proto/ Salesman / Fitting/advertising/confirmation)inspection before sending to the customers.5). Work with engineers with active ideal to get better designs and achieve better cost on projects 6). Track down all sample size fit test result and new material physical test and finished shoe test results 7). Hold tech hand over meeting together with commercialization team of each proto stage, discuss any potential issue for mass production.8). Develop the company's materials supply chain system, Manage Suppliers performance9). Source new suppliers and develop existing suppliers ; Collect prices of raw materials, monitor competitor activities/ benchmark prices on materials; Make risk assessment on material and components. Pay attention to RSL(Restricted Substances List) 10). Check the costing breakdown sheet before reporting to the GM, and negotiate the price issue with the customers to get the target price.

This is factory owned by Taiwanese, who is expert at making genuine leather casual shoes, especially in making polishing two-tone finishing shoes. The main customers are Brown shoe company, Jcpenny,Sears, Sperry, Stride rite, Novi, Wolverine, Marks & Spencer, Pikolinos.1, I was the Manager Assistance from 1991-1994, and prompted to be the factory manager in 1995. Having had taken charge of the production department for 7 years, I was appointed to be the Vice President in 2002.2. From 2002-2012, I assisted the president to response for the operation of the factory, making the strategy, setting the management system. I took charge of the purchasing department, technical transfer department, schedule department, production department and quality controlling department. The specific content of my work are followed:1. Assist the General Manager to establish the factory strategy and production plan.2. Monitor the implementation of the daily operation for ISO 9000.3. Establish and develop SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) for factory management.4. Establish and control the production big plan, check daily report to ensure the schedule under-controlled.5. Set up the quality control target and track quality improvement result.6. Take part in the cutting die test to ensure the technical transfer is well –prepared and can be well –followed in production.7. Meet with the core material supplier to ensure the material on time delivery and good quality.8. Have meeting with management every week to review weekly work, motivate and develop center management team to ensure they achieve their target; and meeting with all the employees in the factory every month to emphasize the factory policy, strategy.9. Implement the performance management, conduct the regular performance review for the senior management.10. Take charge of the factory's fire safety,social ethical performance. Assist the General Manager to improve the management's safety and social ethical sense.

After 3 months training, started from assistant line chief to manage production, I was the section chief of production line when I left this company at March,1991.
