CNC Programmer, Setter and Operator with a demonstrated history working within UK Precision Manufacturing Industries.Served a 4 year Advanced Apprenticeship within British Engines in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering as a CNC Turner.I have experience in programming, setting and operating dedicated CNC lathes, mills, and intergrex (mill/turn) machines using Mazatrol (Mazaks), Fanuc longhand, CAPS (MORI), Siemens SINUMERIK (XYZ) and Citizen longhand controlling systems using a wide variety of setups and tooling including tailstocks, dual chucks, and live tooling and attachments like bar feeders and gantry loaders. I also have experience in the use of manual centre lathes and milling machines. I have produced parts of differing complexity for a variety of sectors such as oil and gas, MOD, mining, construction and agriculture for various clients including but not limited to: Rolls Royce, BEL Valves, Rotary Power, CMP, ALCO Valves and NOV.In my role as a Team Lead I oversaw a section of 7 4axis machining centres using both bar feed and gantry loading systems, ensuring that the section runs smoothly. I trained and assisted colleagues day to day and often am called upon to solve problems. I also helped to ensure procedures are followed correctly, all on top of my standard duties as a CNC machinist.My volunteering role in the Army Cadet Force has given me internal qualifications and experience in leadership and teaching, which has proved invaluable when training colleagues and apprentices.
