City Councilmember

Researched environmental, natural resource, land use, employment, social service, and public safety issues. Wrote comments on federal actions. Drafted memos to Tribe's executive council and federal and state agencies. Presented resolutions to Tribe's executive council for passage. Drafted comments to proposed United States federal rule changes, forest plan revisions, and other federal actions.

I am enrolled in a concurrent J.D./M.S. program at the University of Idaho. I take classes concurrently in the College of Law and College of Graduate Studies. My legal studies are focused on natural resource and environmental law. While my master's research emphasizes research techniques in remote sensing, questions pertaining to climate change, and issues of spatial scale. I conduct research in the Geospatial Laboratory for Environmental Dynamics through the College of Natural Resources.

Conducted biological fieldwork as part of a team at the Orchard Training Area south of Boise, ID. Surveyed plants, animals, and endangered species.

Conducted rainfall simulations, rill simulations, and other rangeland fieldwork. Our research was part of a project that provided valuable information to local ranchers in the Owyhee and Steens Mountains.
