Miskin Theatre is a full-time vocational college where we train and prepare students for the rigorous auditions of Higher Educational establishments and professional performing/artist jobs. I am a fully qualified teacher and I teach numerous subjects across my timetable and specialise in Musical Theatre Jazz and Acting Through Song. I create and direct various pieces from contrasting musicals for our productions each year which require a solid creative vision, whilst being able to source and evaluate appropriate resources. I established and embedded a successful in-house Musical Theatre production into the curriculum which I take the creative lead on each year and see through from beginning to completion. I also utilise my IT skills on our social media platforms as I create original image and video content, descriptors and schedule items throughout the year to continue generating and engaging with our audience and building new connections. Since I started this account, our following and brand awareness has excelled.I assist my manager on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of our Ofsted outstanding department. Duties include: tracking student attendance, correspondence with parents and caregivers, communication with external departments and establishments to create outreach opportunities, brief writing, marking student work, staying up-to-date with curriculums and ensuring that strict processes are adhered to for both internal and external verification systems.Although the college operates within specific working hours there are numerous times throughout the year that require flexibility. Extracurricular activities such as Open Evenings, Showcases, conventions and performances require out-of-hours availability during both weekdays and weekends. Safeguarding is paramount when working within education and I have a responsibility to act immediately to ensure the safety of the learner is the key priority and dealt with both efficiently and professionally.

Following my scholarship-funded training and successful graduation from the world-class establishment "Laine Theatre Arts" in Surrey, I embarked on my career as a professional, self-employed performer in the Musical Theatre & TV sector. My work in the industry required motivation, drive and resilience to be successful and detailed below are some of the jobs and duties I fulfilled throughout this period.Duties: Diary management, travel arrangements, invoice writing, bookkeeping, emails, excellent communication and personable skills, networking, self-promotion, establishing and maintaining professional contacts and fitness training.

For ten years I worked closely with the creative and production team through pre-production meetings to ensure that the shows produced were of the highest calibre. When working in the theatre, I was responsible for creative decisions involving the professional cast which often consisted of high-profile TV and music celebrities.Duties: Managing rehearsal schedules, teaching and creating show material to and for all cast members, maintaining show details, dealing with cast and creative issues, communicating with the choreographer, director, theatre, box office and company managers.

As part of the London-based office team, I worked to set up, organise and manage this product campaign before it toured the country. For the duration of the roadshow, I was the main point of contact for all staff and site managers.Duties: Sole responsibility for managing the Samsung Roadshow touring the UK. Organising and booking staff travel. Organising and booking hotels. Scheduling and itinerary planning. Creating daily sales reports. Managing numerous different teams. Communicating with all site managers. Transporting products between venues. Setting up merchandise and product stands. Maintaining standards.

Onboard the prestigious Crystal Serenity, I had the pleasure of working as a professional Singer and Dancer as a valued member of the award-winning entertainment department. Throughout each cruise, I performed in numerous production shows for the high-wealth clientele, whom I would also socialize with at private dinners and events. Once my working relationship with my manager was established, I was appointed their assistant. This role included supporting them in managing rehearsal schedules, delegating cast duties and meticulously maintaining the quality and integrity of the production shows.
