Hello! My name is Sam Liske. I am currently studying data science.I have conducted scientific research with Dr. Gordon Burghardt in the field of reptilian chemical perception. This also entailed constructing a poster and presenting the research at EURēCA. In the process, I earned a presenter's award and a great deal of experience using Noldus's behavioral research software. I also have considerable experience writing not only in but outside the classroom. I have published a short story in the UTK Phoenix Magazine, as well as poems in the Pigeon Parade Quarterly and an Eber and Wein Anthology. Additionally, I am fluent in German at the B1 level, and so far I have two semesters of Mandarin Chinese under my belt. When I am not in the classroom or writing for fun, I enjoy all things relating to music and audio production. I play the drum set, bass guitar, piano, synthesizer, and clarinet, and I have contributed production and composition to albums by several bands in which I participate. I have also composed and produced my own albums, and I wrote and produced the intro and outro jingles for UTK's Daily Beacon Podcast.
