In 2003, I moved to Australia as an international student. Like many others, I did a variety of casual jobs while I was studying. I fully appreciate and empathise with the experience of students when studying in Australia. My strong sense of empathy has helped me to build authentic relationships with colleagues, clients and students. With a deep understanding of Australia's education system, I have been very successful with years of experience working in onshore and offshore markets.My first job was in the Australian education field was across ELICOS, VET and Higher Education sectors. I have 12 years’ experience at the International Institute of Business and Technology (IIBIT). IIBIT contracts to Federation University to deliver Higher Education courses in Sydney and Adelaide. I also have experience as a Marketing and Admission Officer with the International School of Business and Technology (ISBT). During my time with ISBT the institute delivered Bachelor and Master courses in Sydney for the University of New England (UNE). My current employing institute offers pathway programs for Central Queensland University (CQU), Murdoch University (MU) and Edith Cowan University (ECU). I have acquired extensive knowledge and experience within the education industry in the past fourteen years in Australia. Working with a variety of universities as outlined above has allowed me to learn about the similarities and differences between university policies and how they are applied.In my previous and current roles, I have been the institute front line “go-to” advisor. Agents or students often personally ask for me when they have enquiries or questions. With extensive experience in the Australian higher education system and understanding of administration systems and admission and enrolment processes, I can answer questions from students and agents and provide accurate guidance to students. The enquiries I answer cover a wide range of areas. I have built myself a strong reputation in the industry with a can-do attitude, in-depth knowledge, professionalism, customer services and work ethic with more than a decade of experience. I remain positive and motivated to manage my work, take initiative and check my own performance, meet deadlines while working with a team or independently. I believe that the potential results of a team effort are greater than can be achieved by an individual. I always provide assistance to colleagues as being a team player gives me great satisfaction.
