Alongside my secondary education and degree I have spent time (part and full) working for a bespoke fabricator of water features. This has given me involvement in various stages of work from conceptual design, through to fabrication and instalment. Exposure to a variety of projects has given me chance to learn about materials, combinations and workings behind installations.An art diploma course at Doncaster Technical College between secondary education and degree level helped to sharpen my design tools, allowing me to work with a variety of media and gain tuition in artistic techniques. Post graduation with a BSc in Landscape Architecture and Ecology from The University of Sheffield I pursued 6 months of individual work, completing 2 garden projects in the Doncaster area. I am now pursuing in-practice experience after receiving a fantastic opportunity to work at FPCR’s new Sheffield office. This new venture will give me exposure to large scale urban projects and further my career as a new and enthusiastic Landscape Architect.
